Human cognition comes from personal experience and collective communication. Through memory translation, the objective spatial character is added to the perceptual experience of place after activities, emotions, and events happen. Then, an extremely subjective cognitive map is built.

The three crucial elements of the cognitive map - contextual, conceptual, and emotional - are regarded as INPUT parameters in artificial intelligence(AI). Through the translation of neural networks, which is a part of AI features,  the existing cognition of the defined space is used to create the intermediary transition area for derivation. With the new spatial connection, the existing space is deconstructed. At the same time, the original circulation could be separated from each other and then reconnected and combined to strengthen the mental cognition of the existing space and generate different spatial experiences.

The site where we demonstrate the cognitive spaces is the building GIA locates. With the translation of collective memories, when the viewer walks through the reassembled flow of studios, offices, and classrooms, they would figure out where they are by recognizing the symbolic objects and cognitional hints.

Suddenly, they will realize that they are in the most familiar but strange space, DreamStudio.
